Recap: Shenandoah Raiders vs. Cowan Blackhawks
Make it six blowout wins for the Shenandoah Raiders this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Cowan 53-25 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Shenandoah has posted since December 9, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shenandoah to victory, but perhaps none more so than Haley Hughes, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rory McKnight, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Shenandoah's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-9. As for Cowan, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shenandoah will take on Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Franklin County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven last Saturday. As for Cowan, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Monroe Central at 7:30 p.m.
