Nixa waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish by a score of 14-9. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Nixa's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Springfield Catholic, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Nixa and Springfield Catholic will both be playing Logan-Rogersville the next time they take the field. Springfield Catholic will host Logan-Rogersville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Nixa will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
