Volleyball Recap: Delta Has No Trouble Against Carbon

Delta had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Carbon Dinos with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. The Rabbits haven't had any issues with the Dinos recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Tayden King paced Delta's offense, picking up 21 kills. King got some help from Kambri Mecham and her 40 assists. Javree Dutson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Carbon's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Player #32, who had 14 digs and two assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Dart, who had 16 assists and eight digs.

Delta's win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Carbon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-22 record this season.

Delta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Union on the 27th. As for Carbon, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Manti on the 27th.
