Pennington proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Colbert Heights Wildcats 5-4. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Camdon Fields got the start for Pennington and what a start it was: he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Gibson Posey came in to relieve Fields and was airtight, giving up no runs, hits or walks in his an inning pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Connor Timmerman, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025.
