Soccer Recap: Dickinson Comes Up Short

Dickinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Newark Yellowjackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dickinson of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2021.

Dickinson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Newark, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Dickinson will be playing in front of their home fans against Hodgson Vo-Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newark, they will square off against McKean at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Newark will be up against McKean's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.33 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
