Baseball Game Preview: Victoria East Titans vs. Almeta Crawford Chargers

The Victoria East Titans will take on the Almeta Crawford Chargers in a tournament on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Victoria East took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They put the hurt on Robstown with a sharp 13-3 win.

Victoria East got a massive performance out of Ryan Steele, who scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases Steele has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bentley Blinka, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, while Almeta Crawford put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Fort Bend Kempner. Almeta Crawford came out on top against Fort Bend Kempner by a score of 4-0.
