Baseball Recap: Haynesville Golden Tornado vs. Homer Pelicans
While Haynesville put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Homer. The Golden Tornado blew past the Pelicans 10-0. The Golden Tornado haven't had any issues with the Pelicans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Miller Toney made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Toney was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
