Sioux Falls Lutheran is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Flandreau Indian 68-65. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Sioux Falls Lutheran considering their 27-point performance the match before.

Meanwhile, Canistota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Viborg/Hurley. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Cougars are ranked fourth).

Canistota's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Sioux Falls Lutheran, they moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
