Volleyball Preview: Rogers Mountaineers vs. Fayetteville Bulldogs        
        
		
            Rogers is 0-10 against Fayetteville since October of 2020 but things could change  on Thursday. The Mountaineers will welcome the Bulldogs  at 6:30  p.m.
Rogers came up short against  Northside on Tuesday, falling  3-0.
 Rogers took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20,  25-23.
 The losing side was boosted by   Izzi Anderson, who  had 13  digs and one  assist.
Meanwhile, Fayetteville faced Bentonville West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bulldogs blew past the Wolverines 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
 The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24,  25-16.
 Rogers better focus on containing  Lyla Blagg and  Eva Mcpike as the pair were huge in Fayetteville's win. Blagg  had 12  digs and one  assist, while  Mcpike  had ten  digs and two  aces. That's the most  aces  Mcpike has posted  over her last two  matchups.  Lydia Washington also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first assist of the season.
 Fayetteville's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Rogers, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-2.
