Clarence typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Lancaster proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Red Devils. This was payback for the Legends, who suffered a 6-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Ryan Szychowski tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, Jacob Bencic was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Andrew Moberg also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Lancaster and bumps their season record up to 9-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Clarence, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.

Lancaster will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
