Recap: Pacifica Tritons vs. Cajon Cowboys
After a string of ten wins, The Pacifica Tritons''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 27-17 to Cajon.
Despite the loss, Pacifica still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Dillon, who picked up 114 receiving yards and a touchdown. Dillon's longest reception was for an incredible 77 yards.
Among those leading the charge was Evan Powell, who rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 184 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Izaiah Holley, who picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Pacifica's defeat dropped their record down to 10-1. As for Cajon, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Pacifica does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cajon will head out on the road to face off against St. Bonaventure at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Bonaventure is on a three-game streak of home wins, Cajon a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
