Basketball Recap: KIPP Columbus Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

KIPP Columbus won against North Union last Saturday with 72 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The KIPP Columbus Jaguars walked away with a 72-65 victory over the Centerburg Trojans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Jaguars also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

KIPP Columbus' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points over those games. As for Centerburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jaguars take on the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centerburg, they will welcome Genoa Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Centerburg has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
