On Friday, Benjamin didn't have too much trouble with Boyd Anderson on the road as they won 50-36.
Benjamin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Malia Fink, who scored 7 points along with 12 rebounds and 4 steals.
Boyd Anderson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Zynai Thomas, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals, and Jakaylia Roland who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
The victory got Benjamin back to even at 1-1. As for Boyd Anderson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Benjamin will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Coconut Creek at 11:30 a.m. Boyd Anderson won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Suncoast at 1:00 p.m. on November 25th.
