Volleyball Recap: Northern Guilford Has No Trouble Against Mount Tabor

Northern Guilford's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Mount Tabor Spartans 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on April 3rd.

Northern Guilford's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Mount Tabor, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Northern Guilford will welcome Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Nighthawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mount Tabor, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Winston Salem Christian on the 24th.
