Volleyball Recap: Jacobs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jacobs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Dundee-Crown Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18.

Dundee-Crown can attribute much of their success to Maura Minogue, who had nine digs and one assist.

Jacobs' loss dropped their record down to 15-18. As for Dundee-Crown, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-16 record this season.

Jacobs will square off against Crystal Lake South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dundee-Crown, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Regina Dominican on the 18th.
