Wayne Valley had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fair Lawn Cutters by a score of 42-31. The score was all tied up 15-15 at the break, but the Indians were the better team in the second half.

Wayne Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Veale out in front who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Luke Rubino, who had 11 points and seven boards.

Wayne Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

Wayne Valley pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points over those games. As for Fair Lawn, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Wayne Valley will be taking part in a tournament against DePaul Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fair Lawn, they will square off against Memorial on February 27th.
