Baseball Recap: Brownfield Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Brownfield couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Shallowater Mustangs by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cubs have suffered since May 4, 2024.
