Volleyball Recap: Nicolet Comes Up Short

Nicolet was the 3-1 winner over Homestead when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders on Saturday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Samuel Lanthier was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had five digs and two aces.

Nicolet's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Homestead, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Nicolet has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Kettle Moraine on the 4th. As for Homestead, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against West Allis Central on the 4th.
