Soccer Game Preview: Hargrave vs. Vidor

Hargrave is 0-3 against Vidor since March of 2022 but things could change on Monday. The Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Pirates at 2:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hargrave's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Bridge City by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hargrave.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Vidor made sure to put some goals up on the board against Kelly Catholic on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Bulldogs. Vidor might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by four goals or more this season.

Hargrave's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Vidor, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Hargrave might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Vidor when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
