Softball Recap: Fairfax Comes Up Short

Fairfax lost against Lake Braddock back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell 6-3 to the Bruins. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly three runs.

Sarah Rupp made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Fairfax has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Lake Braddock, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

As of now, neither Fairfax nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
