Football Recap: William Campbell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

William Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 32-16 bruising from the Cumberland Dukes. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dukes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

William Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cumberland, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, William Campbell will square off against Buckingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cumberland, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Randolph-Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Dukes their first taste of in-conference action this season.
