It was a good run, but Grant unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Mary's Academy Blues. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blues apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for St. Mary's Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Grant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Canby on the 4th. As for St. Mary's Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Tualatin on the 6th.
