Marquette has gone a perfect 10-0 against Houghton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Marquette Redmen will head out on the road to take on the Houghton Gremlins at 7:00 p.m. Marquette will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

Marquette is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Michigan's top teams: Cass Tech, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Marquette was ranked 15th). Marquette strolled past Cass Tech with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 76-59.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Houghton against Hancock on Friday as the squad secured a 61-21 win. The Gremlins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Marquette's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Houghton, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Marquette took their victory against Houghton when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 90-66. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marquette since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
