Oglethorpe County entered their tilt with Elbert County on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Blue Devils. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Oglethorpe County's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Elbert County, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-11.

Coincidentally, Oglethorpe County and Elbert County will both be playing Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy the next time they take the court. The Blue Devils will head out to face Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
