Basketball Recap: Seven Oaks Classical Comes Up Short

Seven Oaks Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 71-13 defeat at the hands of the Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions. The game marked the Firehawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Seven Oaks Classical's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lighthouse Christian Academy, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Seven Oaks Classical will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dugger Union at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Lighthouse Christian Academy, they will face off against Columbus Christian at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Lighthouse Christian Academy is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Columbus Christian a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change.
