Olivia Lange looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Emma Cunningham was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, seven RBI, and two runs. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Grace Archer, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and three RBI.
Vincennes Lincoln always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .617. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Evansville Harrison didn't have quite enough to beat Evansville Central on Thursday and fell 7-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.
Rhyann Guier put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only three hits, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Joselyn Wade was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with two runs.
Evansville Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Vincennes Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Evansville Harrison's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Vincennes Lincoln has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Evansville Harrison, though, as they've been averaging 10.5 hits.
