Klahowya is 8-2 against Vashon Island since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Pirates at 3:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Klahowya has three straight victories, Vashon Island has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Klahowya's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Cascade Christian with a sharp 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Vashon Island's offense. They came up short against Charles Wright on Monday, falling 11-0.

Vashon Island saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sebastian Gallez, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Gallez's first of the season.

Vashon Island's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Klahowya, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.

Klahowya couldn't quite get it done against Vashon Island in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 9-4. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
