Baseball Recap: Bolles Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oakleaf last Thursday, Bolles came back down to earth. The Bolles Bulldogs fell 7-2 to the Parrish Community Bulls on Tuesday.

Bolles saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ford McCarthy, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Bolles' loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Parrish Community, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bolles will be taking part in a tournament against Davidson Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Davidson Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Parrish Community, they will take on IMG Academy Gold in a tournament on Wednesday.
