Brady Cunningham posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Cunningham's strong effort led Brother Rice over St. Rita and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
