Softball Recap: Dearborn Comes Up Short

Dearborn lost against Inter-City Baptist on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pioneers took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Niveen Sleiman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. Another player making a difference was Madison Shoff, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Dearborn's loss dropped their record down to 7-19-2. As for Inter-City Baptist, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Coming up, Dearborn will head out on the road to face off against Brighton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Inter-City Baptist, they will welcome Plymouth Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
