Volleyball Recap: Beaver Island Find Success

The Beaver Island Islanders earned a 2-0 win over the Alanson Vikings on Saturday.

Beaver Island's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6-1. As for Alanson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8-1.

Beaver Island will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Whitefish Township at 1:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Alanson, they are taking a road trip to square off against Atlanta at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
