Softball Game Preview: Linden-Kildare Tigers vs. Rivercrest Rebels

For the second straight game, Linden-Kildare will face off against Rivercrest. The Tigers will welcome the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Linden-Kildare is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Linden-Kildare is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since March 1st on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to Rivercrest.

Lynlee Lejeune made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

The win (which was Rivercrest's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Linden-Kildare, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.
