Basketball Game Preview: Seminole County Indians vs. Bainbridge Bearcats

The Seminole County Indians will challenge the Bainbridge Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Seminole County is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Lanier just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 60-37 to the Longhorns. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered since February 27, 2024.

Meanwhile, Bainbridge had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 57-31 margin over the Syrupmakers. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Seminole County's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Bainbridge, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Seminole County skirted past Bainbridge 37-34 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Seminole County repeat their success, or does Bainbridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
