Volleyball Recap: Corning Comes Up Short

Corning saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Quincy Trojans. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brook Piseno paced Corning's offense, picking up two kills. Piseno got some help from Brystal McClelland and her three assists.

Corning's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Quincy, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Corning has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Chico on the 23rd. As for Quincy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against McKinleyville on the 23rd.
