Softball Recap: Orofino Takes a Loss

Orofino lost against Centennial back in March of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Maniacs came up short against the Patriots, falling 13-3. The matchup marked the Maniacs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Orofino saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brynn Hanna, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Hanna is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Orofino and nudges their season record down to 10-4. As for Centennial, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Coincidentally, Orofino and Centennial will both be playing Meridian the next time they take the field. The Maniacs will head out to face the Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Patriots will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
