Basketball Game Preview: St. Anthony's Friars vs. Varsity Opponent

The St. Anthony's Friars will take on Varsity Opponent in a holiday battle at at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

St. Anthony's saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kennedy Catholic. The loss was the Friars' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Varsity Opponent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against Sage Hill, falling 62-18.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Anthony's fell to 2-1. As for Varsity Opponent, their loss dropped their record down to 94-238-1.
