Byron Nelson strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Liberty Redhawks by a score of 2-0. The Bobcat have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redhawks, too.

While Byron Nelson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23.

Ashlyn Seay paced Byron Nelson's offense, picking up eight kills. Seay got some help from Sophee Peterson and her 20 assists. Seay was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Byron Nelson's victory bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Liberty, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3.
