Basketball Recap: Erie First Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Erie First Christian Academy entered their game against Saegertown on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Erie First Christian Academy came up short against the Saegertown Panthers, falling 90-66. If Erie First Christian Academy was looking for revenge after losing 43-33 to them when the teams met back in February of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Erie First Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Avery Collins, who posted 36 points and seven rebounds. Collins' morning made it 24 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Ayden Blum, who earned 11 points.

Erie First Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Saegertown, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Erie First Christian Academy nor Saegertown have any future games scheduled.
