It was a good run, but Hopatcong unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 66-65 to the Kittatinny Regional Cougars. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (63), the Chiefs still had to take the loss.

Hopatcong's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-5. As for Kittatinny Regional, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Hopatcong will be playing at home against Warren County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kittatinny Regional, they will challenge North Warren Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
