Soccer Recap: Jenks Comes Up Short

If Jenks was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Ponca City last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Union Redhawks on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Jenks haven't been shut out since back in March.

Jenks dropped their record down to 3-8-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Union, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jenks is set to face off against their familiar foe Enid at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Union will challenge rival Piedmont at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
