Basketball Recap: Manson Takes a Loss

Manson lost against Lake Roosevelt back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Manson Trojans took a 61-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Roosevelt Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Raiders are ranked seventh).

Manson dropped their record down to 4-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lake Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manson will square off against Moses Lake Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Moses Lake Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Manson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Roosevelt, they will face off against White Swan at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
