Baseball Game Preview: Warrenton Warriors vs. St. Clair Bulldogs

The Warrenton Warriors will head out on the road to take on the St. Clair Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Warrenton will aim to continue their five-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Warrenton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Holt on Wednesday as they made off with a 19-1 win. Considering the Warriors have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, St. Clair was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell 4-1 to Sullivan. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Warrenton's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5. As for St. Clair, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Everything went Warrenton's way against St. Clair in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Warrenton made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
