Ashwaubenon is 8-2 against De Pere since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Jaguars will look to defend their home field against the Redbirds at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Ashwaubenon 0.9, De Pere 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
De Pere will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Ashwaubenon extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Jaguars walked away with a 9-4 victory over Manitowoc Lincoln.

Grace Aichele made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one double. That double was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Crutcher, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Gianna Guarascio, who went 2-for-4 with one home run.
Ashwaubenon hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, De Pere suffered their closest loss since April 22, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Slinger by a score of 3-1. The Redbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Julianne Bradford was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
Ashwaubenon pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for De Pere, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Ashwaubenon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .373. However, it's not like De Pere struggles in that department as they've averaged .317. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Ashwaubenon took their win against De Pere in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 7-0 score. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Redbirds turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
