Soccer Game Preview: Manning vs. Florence Christian

The Manning Monarchs are taking a road trip to face off against the Florence Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Manning has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 7.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Manning's offense. They came up short against Atlantic Collegiate Academy on Tuesday, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Florence Christian lost 6-1 to Wilson Hall on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Florence Christian were already down 3-0.

Manning's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Florence Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Manning might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from Florence Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Monarchs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
