Volleyball Game Preview: Morse Tigers vs. Logan Memorial Education Campus Eagles

The Morse Tigers will square off against the Logan Memorial Education Campus Eagles at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Logan Memorial Education Campus took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Morse, who comes in off a win.

Morse will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating San Diego, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Tigers blew past the Cavers 3-0 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

While Morse won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-23.

Morse's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Hailie Bautista, who had 27 digs and one assist, and Iliana-Hope Faustino, who had 11 digs, seven kills, and six aces. That's the most kills Faustino has posted over her last eight contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Alivia Rathanasith, who had 17 digs.

Meanwhile, Logan Memorial Education Campus came up short against Hoover on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 25-13.

Logan Memorial Education Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Morse, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.
