Football Game Preview: Coudersport Falcons vs. Smethport Hubbers + How To Watch

The Coudersport Falcons will head out to take on the Smethport Hubbers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coudersport has given up an average of 29.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Coudersport is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Brookville on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Falcons came up short against the Raiders, falling 41-20. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

Meanwhile, Smethport was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 28-22 to Kane.

Coudersport will have to contain Jonah Ganoe as he made an impact in Smethport's last game. He rushed for 219 yards and two scores while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and one touchdown. Ganoe's longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards.

Smethport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Coudersport, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coudersport strolled past Smethport in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a score of 46-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
