Baseball Game Preview: Deposit-Hancock vs. Saratoga Central Catholic Saints

Deposit-Hancock is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Gowanda 2-1. That's two games straight that Deposit-Hancock has won by just one run.

Meanwhile, Saratoga Central Catholic faced Burke Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Saints walked away with a 5-2 victory over Burke Catholic. The win was nothing new for the Saints as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Carson Moser looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ronan Rowe was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Tyler Weygand was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
