While Monache's win against Porterville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Marauders had just enough and edged out the Panthers 6-5 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Marauders in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Maddox Miguel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Tyson Chavez was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Monache's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Porterville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18-1 record this season.
