Baseball Recap: Carson Takes a Loss

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Carson faced off against Clovis North on Wednesday. The Colts lost 7-1 to the Broncos.

Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Clovis North, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Carson will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Pedro at 3:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Clovis North, they will welcome Central at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
