Baseball Recap: Pueblo Central Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Pueblo Central dropped their record down to 12-9-1 on Friday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They lost 9-1 to the Pueblo County Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in April.

As for Pueblo County, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Considering they have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

For Pueblo County's part, they let Pat Noga and Blake Swift run wild. Noga went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Swift went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave Noga a new career-high. Nick Hernandez was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

While Pueblo Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
